Terms & Conditions — Bespoke Furniture Group

    Last updated: 1 May 2026

    1. About us

This website is operated by Bespoke Furniture Group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom. You can contact us on 07808 071813 or by email at gfk0403@gmail.com. Learn more about our workshop and team.

    2. These terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Separate written terms apply once you become a customer — these are provided with your quote and form the contract between us for the supply of bespoke fitted furniture, including design, manufacture, delivery and installation.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Bespoke Furniture Group; "you" and "your" refer to the visitor or customer; "project" means the bespoke furniture commissioned under your written order; and "working day" means Monday to Friday excluding English public holidays.

    3. Quotes and consultations

    • Our initial home consultation is free and carries no obligation.
    • Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise.
    • Quotes are based on the brief and measurements taken at consultation. Material changes to scope, structure, or finish may affect price; any change will be agreed in writing before work continues.

    4. Orders and deposits

An order is confirmed once you accept the quote in writing and pay the agreed deposit. Stage payments and balance terms will be set out in your written order acknowledgement.

    5. Lead times and installation

Lead times are estimates given at the point of order based on workshop capacity. We'll keep you informed of any changes. Installation dates are confirmed at least two weeks in advance.

    6. Workmanship guarantee

We provide a written workmanship guarantee with every project, covering the construction and installation work performed by our team. See our what's included as standard page for an overview. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party alterations, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturer guarantees on appliances and hardware are passed through to you. Examples of completed projects can be viewed in our work and customer reviews.

    7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and services performed with reasonable care and skill.

    8. Cancellation

Because every project is made specifically for you, the standard 14-day cancellation right for distance and off-premises sales does not apply once production has begun. We'll always set out cancellation terms clearly in your written order.

    9. Website content

All content on this website (text, images, logos) is owned by Bespoke Furniture Group or used with permission. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish content without our consent.

    10. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability arising out of website use is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

    11. Complaints procedure

If something isn't right, tell us as soon as possible and we'll work to put it right.

    1. Contact us by phone or email with details of the issue. We'll acknowledge within 2 working days.
    2. Investigation: we'll investigate, usually inspecting on site where relevant, and respond with proposed remedies within 10 working days.
    3. Resolution: agreed remedial work is scheduled at the earliest convenient time and carried out at no cost where covered by our guarantee.
    4. Escalation: if you remain dissatisfied, you may pursue the matter through the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman or the courts of England and Wales.

    12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

    13. Materials, finishes and natural variation

We use high-quality FINSA Hidrofugo premium grade MDF carcasses, solid timber face frames where specified, and concealed soft-close drawers and soft-close cabinet hinges as standard across our fitted wardrobes, bespoke kitchens, living room and media wall furniture and home office ranges. Timber, veneer and painted finishes are natural products and may show small variations in grain, knot pattern and tone between samples and the finished piece. Hand-painted finishes are sprayed in our workshop and inspected before despatch; minor variation in sheen under different lighting conditions is normal and not a defect.

    14. Site survey, access and preparation

Final manufacturing measurements are taken at a site survey after deposit. You agree to provide safe, clear access to the installation area on agreed dates, including parking where reasonably available, and to ensure that floors, walls and ceilings are sound and ready for fitted furniture. Where electrical, plumbing or building work is required before installation, this is your responsibility unless explicitly included in the written quote. We will flag any concerns identified at survey.

    15. Variations and change requests

Once production has started, changes to dimensions, materials, finishes or layout may not be possible, or may incur additional cost and extend the lead time. Any variation will be set out in writing, priced, and confirmed by you before we proceed. Verbal change requests are not binding until confirmed in writing by both parties.

    16. Risk, title and care

Risk in the goods passes to you on installation. Title passes once the final balance has been received in cleared funds. After installation, we will provide care guidance covering routine cleaning, recommended products to avoid, and how to handle minor knocks, scratches or seasonal timber movement. Following this guidance helps maintain your guarantee.

    17. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including supplier failure, transport disruption, severe weather, fire, flood, industrial action, or government restrictions. Where such an event occurs we will keep you informed and agree a revised timetable as soon as practicable.

    18. Privacy and data

Personal data submitted through enquiry forms, by email, or during the quoting and installation process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use this data only to deliver the service you've asked for and to follow up on your enquiry.

    19. Severance and third-party rights

If any provision of these terms is held to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. No third party has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

    20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
