Home Offices Designed for Real Work
Working from home is now a permanent part of life for thousands of people across Newcastle and Tyne and Wear. Yet most home offices are improvised — a desk from a flat-pack retailer, cables hanging off the back, paperwork stacked on every surface, and a setup that was meant to be temporary two years ago.
A bespoke home office changes that. We design and build purpose-fitted workspaces with integrated desks, shelving, file storage, and cable management — all within whatever room you have available. Whether it's a dedicated study, a corner of a bedroom, or a converted alcove, we create a workspace that's functional, organised, and permanent.
Every home office is designed around how you work: your equipment, your storage needs, your workflow, and the ergonomics of your daily routine. The result is a workspace you can take seriously — because it was designed to be taken seriously.
The Problem with Improvised Home Offices
A temporary desk setup becomes permanent without anyone noticing. The kitchen table turns into a permanent workstation. A flat-pack desk dominates a bedroom corner with cables trailing down the wall. Storage is whatever drawers came with the desk, which is never enough.
Poor workspace design affects productivity and wellbeing. A desk at the wrong height causes back pain. Inadequate storage creates clutter. Trailing cables are unsightly and a trip hazard. And a workspace that doesn't feel professional makes it harder to focus.
A properly designed home office solves these problems at their root — ergonomic desk heights, integrated cable management, purpose-built storage, and a design that separates workspace from living space even when they share the same room.

Integrated Cable Management
Cable ports, concealed trunking, and hidden power strips. Your desk stays clean, and cables are accessible but invisible.
Purpose-Built Storage
File drawers, shelving for books and binders, supply cupboards — all designed for what you actually need to store.
Fits Any Space
Full rooms, alcoves, bedroom corners, landing areas, under-eaves spaces — we design productive workspaces in any available area.
Looks Like Furniture, Not Office Equipment
When the laptop closes, the space looks like well-designed furniture — not a commercial office dropped into a bedroom.
One Team, Complete Installation
Design, build, and install handled entirely by us. No separate trades needed.
Desk Types, Storage & Technical Details
Home office desks are built to ergonomic standards with worktop heights set for comfortable typing and screen viewing. Standard seated desk height is 720mm, but we adjust this based on your chair height and preferences. Standing-height sections at 1050mm are available for dual-position working.
Cable management infrastructure includes desktop grommets for cable pass-through, rear cable trays, integrated power strip housing, and USB charging points. We design access panels so cables can be added or changed in the future without dismantling the desk.
Storage options include deep file drawers for A4 hanging folders, shallow stationery drawers, open shelving for frequently accessed items, closed cupboards for supplies and equipment, and wall-mounted shelving above the desk. Printers, scanners, and other equipment can be housed in ventilated compartments.
For home offices that share space with a bedroom or living room, we design furniture that transitions visually — a desk that looks like a console table when closed, storage that matches bedroom wardrobes, or shelving that blends with living room décor. The workspace is functional during working hours and discreet outside them.
