What Makes a Kitchen Truly Bespoke?

A bespoke kitchen is designed from scratch for your specific room and your specific requirements. There's no catalogue to choose from, no fixed unit sizes, and no layout compromises forced by standardised dimensions. Every cabinet, drawer, and worktop section is made to the exact measurements of your kitchen.

This matters because kitchens are working rooms. The difference between a pan drawer that's 50mm wider and one that's too narrow to stack your pots properly is the difference between a kitchen that works and one that frustrates you every day. Bespoke design eliminates those compromises.

We design kitchens for homeowners across Newcastle and Tyne and Wear — from compact galley kitchens in city-centre flats to open-plan family spaces in suburban homes. Whatever the room, the approach is the same: measure precisely, design intelligently, build properly, install perfectly.

Why Standard Kitchens Compromise Your Space

Standard fitted kitchens use cabinets manufactured in fixed increments — typically 300mm, 500mm, and 600mm widths. Your kitchen rarely divides evenly into these increments, which means filler panels. Fillers are cosmetic strips that plug the gaps between the last cabinet and the wall. They serve no function, waste space, and immediately tell anyone looking that the kitchen wasn't designed for the room.

Standard kitchens also compromise on depth, height, and internal configuration. Wall units are positioned at fixed heights regardless of ceiling height. Base units are a standard depth regardless of room width. Drawers and shelves come in predetermined sizes regardless of what you actually need to store.

A bespoke kitchen eliminates all of these compromises. Cabinets extend to the exact boundaries of the room. Heights match the ceiling. Internal configurations are designed around your cooking equipment, your tableware, and your shopping habits.

    Why Choose a Bespoke Kitchen

    No Filler Panels

Cabinets built to your room's exact dimensions. Wall to wall, floor to ceiling — no gaps, no wasted strips.

    Workflow-Designed Layout

Sink, hob, prep area, and storage positioned based on how you actually use the kitchen, not where standard units happen to fit.

    Internal Storage That Makes Sense

Pan drawers deep enough for your pans. Spice racks where you reach for them. Recycling integrated, not afterthought.

    Any Style, Any Finish

Shaker, handleless, painted, natural wood, or high-gloss — designed from scratch, not selected from a limited range.

    Built-to-Last Construction

Solid carcasses, quality hinges, concealed soft-close drawers, soft-close cabinet hinges, and robust worktops. A kitchen designed for daily use over decades.

    One Team, Complete Control

Design, manufacture, and installation all handled by our team. Clear communication and consistent quality throughout.

    Materials, Styles & Kitchen Configurations

Kitchen carcasses are built from 18mm high-quality FINSA Hidrofugo premium grade MDF or high-density particleboard with melamine facing. These materials provide structural rigidity, moisture protection, and a clean internal finish. All cabinets use concealed hinges with soft-close mechanisms as standard.

Door styles range from traditional shaker profiles and tongue-and-groove designs to flat-slab handleless options with push-to-open mechanisms. Painted finishes are available in any colour — we regularly match Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, and RAL colours. Natural wood veneers in oak, walnut, and ash are also available.

Worktop options include solid timber (typically oak or walnut), high-pressure laminate, quartz composite, granite, and Dekton ultra-compact surfaces. Each material has different properties regarding heat resistance, scratch resistance, and maintenance requirements — we'll advise on the best choice for your usage.

We also design and build kitchen islands, breakfast bars, integrated pantry units, wine storage, and appliance garages. For open-plan spaces, we create designs that work visually from both the kitchen side and the living area — ensuring the kitchen looks as good from the sofa as it does from the hob.

How Much Does a Bespoke Kitchen Cost in Newcastle?

Kitchen costs vary significantly based on size, materials, and complexity. We always provide a detailed quote after measuring your space — never a guess over the phone.

As a general guide, a small to medium bespoke kitchen with quality materials and standard worktops typically ranges from £8,000 to £15,000. Larger kitchens or those with stone worktops, premium hardware, and extensive features generally range from £15,000 to £30,000 or more.

Our quotes cover cabinetry, worktops, hardware, and installation. Plumbing, electrical, and appliance costs are separate and coordinated with your chosen tradespeople.
