    What Are Fitted Wardrobes?

Fitted wardrobes are built directly into the dimensions of your bedroom — spanning wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Unlike freestanding furniture, there are no gaps at the top, sides, or bottom. Every millimetre of available space is used for storage.

Our fitted wardrobes are designed for Newcastle homeowners who want more than a standard flat-pack solution. Whether you're working with a compact terraced bedroom, a large master suite, or a room with architectural features like chimney breasts and alcoves, we design around the room rather than against it.

Each wardrobe is individually designed during a home consultation, manufactured using quality materials, and installed by our own team. The result is a wardrobe that looks like it was always part of the room — because it was designed specifically for it.

    The Problem with Off-the-Shelf Wardrobes

Freestanding wardrobes come in fixed sizes. Your room doesn't. The result is predictable: gaps between the wardrobe and the wall that collect dust, wasted space above the unit that could hold seasonal clothing or bedding, and doors that don't quite open properly because the room layout wasn't considered.

Standard wardrobes also tend to deteriorate quickly. Flat-pack construction relies on cam locks and dowels that loosen over time. Sliding doors jump their tracks. Hinges sag. Within a few years, that "affordable" wardrobe has cost you more in frustration than a properly built fitted solution would have.

A fitted wardrobe built to your room's exact dimensions eliminates every one of these problems. It's stronger, more space-efficient, and designed to last for decades rather than years.

    No Subcontractors

Our own team designs, builds, and installs every wardrobe. One team, consistent quality, clear communication throughout.

    Quality Guarantee

Every wardrobe is guaranteed. If anything isn't right, we come back and fix it — no arguments, no delays.

    Materials, Styles & Configurations

We build fitted wardrobes using a range of materials selected for durability, appearance, and suitability for the space. Carcasses are constructed from high-quality FINSA Hidrofugo premium grade MDF or high-density melamine-faced board, providing a rigid, stable structure that won't bow or warp over time.

Door options include shaker-style, handleless push-to-open, traditional panelled, mirrored, and fully painted finishes in any colour you choose. Sliding doors are available for rooms where swing-space is limited, and bi-fold options work well for wider openings.

Internally, we configure each wardrobe to suit exactly how you use it. Double-height hanging for shirts and jackets, full-length hanging for dresses and coats, pull-out shoe racks, integrated drawers, tie and belt organisers, and LED lighting are all available. We also build around existing features — pipes, sockets, and structural elements are incorporated into the design rather than treated as obstacles.

For period properties in areas like Jesmond, Gosforth, and Heaton, we design wardrobes that respect the character of the room — matching skirting profiles, ceiling roses, and architectural details. For modern new-builds, we offer clean, contemporary designs with minimal visual hardware.

How Much Do Fitted Wardrobes Cost in Newcastle?

The cost of a fitted wardrobe depends on several factors, and we don't believe in giving misleading ballpark figures. Instead, we provide a detailed, itemised quote after visiting your home and understanding exactly what you need.

As a general guide, a single fitted wardrobe with standard internal fittings starts from around £1,500 to £2,500. Larger wardrobes spanning an entire wall, or designs with premium materials and extensive internal customisation, typically range from £3,000 to £6,000 or more.

Every quote we provide is fully transparent — you'll see exactly what you're paying for, with no hidden costs or surprise extras.

    What Affects the Price

    • Width, height, and depth of the wardrobe
    • Door style and material (sliding, hinged, bi-fold, mirrored)
    • Internal configuration (shelves, drawers, hanging rails, shoe racks, lighting)
    • Finish and colour (painted, melamine, natural wood veneer)
    • Complexity of the space (sloped ceilings, chimney breasts, alcoves)
    • Removal and disposal of existing furniture
